FNAC stores in Évora and Faro host this weekend, August 5th and 6th, the FNAC Board Games Fest, a meeting of board games that invites everyone to participate.
«In the digital era, offline is the new luxury and these games are already identified as an increasingly popular socialization trend in different age groups«, points out FNAC.
With strategy, logic and family games, not forgetting timeless classics, the FNAC Board Games Fest will pass through 12 FNAC stores.
According to a study by the market analysis company Mintel UK, in 2022, a quarter of respondents to entertainment activities declared that they had recently participated in social games, including board games.
The FNAC Board Games Fest thus, according to the group, «meets this trend and adds the presentation of novelties and bestsellers in the world of ideal board games to enjoy this summer».
The FNAC Board Games Fest matches will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, from 14 pm to 00 pm, with an average duration of 19 minutes per game.
On the 5th of August the event will take place at FNAC in Évora and on the 6th at FNAC in Faro.
