EMARP shows at the Sardine Festival that “Separating is Easy”

company promotes the offer of buckets to residents who wish to join the pilot project for collecting leftover food

The Portimão Municipal Water and Waste Company (EMARP) has a stand at the Sardine Festival, which runs until 6 August, where it organizes “various recreational activities”.

The stand «aroused the interest of dozens of visitors who, at the opening of the event, waited their turn to participate in the game “Separar é Fácil” or make the organic wheel spin», says EMARP.

In addition to the didactic games, until the 6th of August, the company promotes the offer of buckets to residents who wish to join the pilot project for the collection of food scraps, the raffle of a basket of organic products, the regulation of which can be consulted on here, and a pastime on social media for visitors who post using the “Separar é Fácil” frame, alluding to the selective waste separation campaign.

The activities promoted by the EMARP team aim to provide fun moments between family and friends, with the right to prizes, also stimulating reflection on various themes of the environment in general and waste in particular.

The enclosure is also equipped with several ecopoints and awareness signs, encouraging visitors to correctly deposit the waste produced during the event.
