Azores Airlines will fly from Ponta Delgada to Faro

The flights will take place, until September 29, on Wednesdays and Sundays

Azores Airlines will start flying the Ponta Delgada-Faro from June next year. 

The announcement was made this Wednesday, August 23, by this airline that belongs to the SATA group.

The flights will take place until the 29th of September, on Wednesdays and Sundays, departing from Ponta Delgada at 9:00 am and Faro to 13h25.

The connections, which will last around two hours and 25 minutes, will be made on an Airbus A320 plane, with a maximum capacity of 168 people.

In a statement, Azores Airlines says that, with this new route, it wants to "consolidate its position in the national market, expand its portfolio of routes and increase network connectivity in the Azores".
