Avenue that connects Teatro das Figuras to the roundabout on Rua Aboim Ascensão undergoes works

Avenue Prof. Dr. Adelino Palma Carlos, which connects the roundabout of Teatro das Figuras, in Faro, at Rua Aboim Ascensão will be repaved. 

The repaving contract was awarded on the 7th of August by the Municipality of Faro to Sociedade José de Sousa Barra & Filhos.

The contract has a global value of 92.894,03 euros, plus VAT, and an execution period of 60 days from the date of consignment.

In a note, the municipality of Faro clarifies that "the contract consists of work on the site and security, cleaning of ditches, paving the carriageway and execution of road markings".

With this undertaking, the Municipality of Faro intends to provide «better conditions of safety and comfort to the many thousands of people who use this Avenue every day».
