The last show of Animação de Verão in Armação de Pêra is scheduled for this Sunday, August 27th, at 22:00 pm, at Fortaleza, with the performance of Verónica Monteiro Trio.
The show is free of charge and has the support of the Parish Council of Armação de Pêra.
The initiative organized by the Municipality of Silves aims to qualify the tourist offer of Armação de Pêra, boost local commerce, attract visitors and provide unique moments to all who pass through there.
Verónica Monteiro is from Faro and resides in Silves. She started her musical studies at the Maria Campina Conservatory and, over time, was involved in several musical projects as a vocalist.
In 2012, she began her solo journey as a singer and instrumentalist. Her repertoire includes Portuguese music, jazz, bossa nova, blues, Pop, reggae and soul music.
His musical references are influenced by Alice Russell, Norah Jones, Melody Gardot, Lisa Ekdhal, Stacey Kent, Astrud Gilbert, Tom Jobim, George Gershiwn, Mayra Andrade, Mafalda Veiga, Sónia Tavares, Mariza, Sara Tavares, António Zambujo, among others. .
