The witch Teatro presents “A Carne dos Rabos Tristes” in Lagoa

In September

The play “A Carne dos Rabos Tristes”, by the company “awitcha Teatro”, will launch the new programming season at Auditorio Carlos do Carmo, in Lagoa, on September 23rd, at 21pm.

In the show created by Pierre Note, «a seductive black woman who spends her time sunbathing, a stunned blonde who sells crepes, a suicidal boy who sells the meat of his buttocks and a deceased father who wants to be forgiven», we see «involved in a strange trade aimed at the reconciliation of beings», according to the Câmara de Lagoa.

«In this music hall, animalistic impulses mix with the sweetness of sugar crepes. It's a back-and-forth between cruelty and humor, where the melodies converge to surprise ourselves. A metaphor about unconditional giving, love and hope», he adds.

With this play, A witch Teatro «leaves its comfort zone» to offer «its will to surprise, to go beyond the deja vu, at the risk of those who want to put their capacity, irreverence and provocation to the test. In a world where everything is bought and sold, hope for humanity is, it cannot fail to be, that risk of those who are alive!”.

Tickets for this show cost 6 euros (20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2022 Passport, available at the ticket offices of the Municipality of Lagoa) and are available at online sale and at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Convento de S.
