Restoring “Portugal Primeiro” to tell stories in Portimão [video]

O Sul Informação accompanied the meticulous restoration process of the century-old vessel and explains everything in this video report

It started as a steam galleon, it became a trawler. More than a century ago, the “Portugal Primeiro” was launched to fish for sardines, in Portimão.

Now, thanks to a project by the Museum of Portimão to restore this century-old vessel, it will be a new Museum Nucleus, on the banks of the Arade river in Portimão.
