The “Holidays with Dance” project, organized by the cultural association Dancanema, takes place from the 17th to the 28th of July, at Casa das Artes, in Portimão.
As part of the Escola Municipal de Ballet, the project is promoted jointly with the Portimão Council and is divided into two shifts (from the 17th to the 21st and from the 24th to the 28th of July), children and young people aged between 9 and 14 can enroll. years, with a minimum of eight and a maximum of 15 participants per modality.
Part of the programme, which will take place daily from 14 pm to 00 pm, are modalities designed to provide participants with contact with various styles, from ballet to contemporary dance, including hip-hop, jazz dance, world dances, musical theatre, visual arts and yoga.
The activities that comprise this year's “Holidays with Dance” will be taught by accredited teachers, such as Adriel, Rita Lopes, Heidi Sharples, Nilsen Jorge, Thora Nadeshkka, Tiffanie Millenkka, Maria João Barata and Nasrim.
