A 23-year-old young man was arrested on 1 July in Parchal, in the municipality of Lagoa, for drug trafficking.
As part of a road inspection and prevention and fight against crime action, the GNR approached a vehicle where an individual was following, according to the military, "manifested suspicious behavior".
Upon verifying that the man was still nervous, a security check was carried out and the vehicle was searched, with the action culminating in his arrest and the seizure of various materials such as 32,40 doses of hashish, four doses of liamba, 488 euros in cash, three mobile phones and a car.
The detainee was made a defendant and present at the Court of Portimão, for the application of coercive measures.
