There is a 3D Fun Art Museum in Portimão

The Fun Art Museum is set up in downtown Portimão

The 3D Fun Art Museum has already opened its doors in Portimão, with «an innovative concept and around 40 different scenarios, including 3D images and optical illusions».

Portimão is the third city in the country to host the 3D Fun Art Museum.

According to the organization, «there are new features in relation to the similar space in Lisbon, such as the immersive experience of augmented reality on a giant screen where visitors can interact with dinosaurs and other wild animals and new photographs alluding to monuments and landscapes in the Algarve».

For Lara and Ralf Hein, the Portuguese-German couple who brought this concept to Portugal for the first time, in 2019, in Funchal, «after Madeira and the success we had in Lisbon, we decided to bring the experience to the Algarve, where visitors can personify Van Gogh's doctor or even have a dinosaur as a pet».

«They can also see the world completely upside down and record all these moments with their cell phone or camera and share with friends and family», he explains.

The Fun Art Museum is set up in downtown Portimão and can be visited from 10:00 am to 21:00 pm, from Monday to Sunday.

Tickets cost 9 euros for children and 13 euros for adults. There is the possibility of buying a family pack for 30 euros (2 adults and a child).

For groups, with a minimum of 5 people, the ticket is 11 euros for adults and 7 for children.
