It also has, as specific objectives, testing innovative practices that allow for permanent behavioral changes for students, teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as creating reading material on how to transform personal and individual behavioral aspects in the fight against climate change.

Other objectives are to improve the professional development of teachers, giving them tools on how to implement educational projects in schools related to the environment, implement, monitor and evaluate methodologies, use alternative evaluation methods to traditional evaluation methods and still promote competences at of values, civic behavior and participation.

Several school activities and training actions will be carried out, namely in Spain and the Netherlands, in which five teachers and twelve students who attend the Professional Courses promoted by the Professional School Cândido Guerreiro will participate.

As part of the project, this July, Alexandra Pestana, Pedro Brandão, Elsa Luz and Ruben Dias, teachers from that Professional School, traveled to La Vall d´Uixó, in Spain, to participate in a transnational meeting.

During this meeting, in cooperation, all partner entities and organizations planned the activities to be developed and defined the goals to be achieved.

The agenda had eleven interventions, in which the environmental concerns to be addressed and worked with the students throughout the development of the project were discussed, as well as the methodologies to be developed.
