Cinemalua is back with “Cesária Évora” and “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote”

In this edition, the program passes through Tavira and São Brás de Alportel

The films “Cesária Évora” and “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” will circulate in 10 locations in 7 parishes in the municipalities of Tavira and São Brás de Alportel in the Summer 2023 edition of Cinemalua.  

The intimate documentary about Cesária Évora, with archival footage, some unpublished and others rare, and unique testimonies, will pass through the Public Garden of Santa Luzia, on the 7th of July, at 21 pm, by the Associação dos Estorninhos on the 30th of July , at 14 pm, by Alto de São Brás, in Tavira, on the 21th of July, at 30 pm, by the Parish Council of Santo Estêvão on the 18th of July, at 22 pm, and by Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, on day and time to confirm.

The film “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote” is shown at Largo da República in Luz de Tavira on the 13th of July at 21 pm, in the Bairro Saal de Cabanas de Tavira at 30 pm, at Largo Francisco Passos de Cachopo on the 21th of July , at 30 pm, at the Polidesportivo Mato Santo Espírito, on the 29nd of August, at 21 pm, and in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, at a date and time to be confirmed.

All sessions take place outdoors and are free to the public.
