Rui Rocha, president of the Liberal Initiative, will be in the Algarve this Tuesday, June 20, for a series of meetings and visits.
The liberal leader's agenda includes a meeting with the management of the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve (CHUA), in Portimão, a visit to the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Albufeira and various moments of contact with the population and party members .
Rui Rocha will meet, from 10:00 am, with the Board of Directors of CHUA and will visit the emergency department of that clinical unit shortly thereafter.
Also during the morning, at 12:30 am, Rui Rocha will visit the food distribution center of Santa Casa Misericórdia de Albufeira, in the industrial zone of Vale Paraíso, and soon after he has an appointment with the management of Santa Casa da Misericórdia.
According to IL, it is an institution that «plays an important role in supporting the population of the municipality and region, under the Operational Program to Support the Most Needy People (POAPMC), which currently covers more than 1200 people».
The protocol in question will expire in November of this year, but the LIberal Initiative considers «it is essential not only its renewal, but also that the essential goods that have not been included in the baskets that are distributed to families are guaranteed».
In the afternoon, Rui Rocha also participates, from 16 pm, in a round table dedicated to tourism, housing and local accommodation, which will feature a panel that will include José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira, and representatives of the local accommodation, which takes place at the Miradouro do Pau da Bandeira, in Albufeira.
