The Municipality of Loulé launched the GEO24LOULÉ Occurrence Management Platform, which now allows citizens to register incidents online, through the municipal website, and allows Municipality workers to more efficiently handle incidents identified in the territory.
At GEO24LOULÉ, incidents are forwarded by Linha24 operators (service provided by the Municipal Fire Department and Heliport, 24 hours a day) to the respective organic unit, according to the type of occurrence, correctly and almost immediately.
On the other hand, the platform has the objective of compiling the records of occurrences in a single database, avoiding the processing
of duplicate occurrences and the fastest citizen responses.
«Among the innovative features of the platform is the guarantee that the citizen, when reporting an occurrence, can choose the way in which the Municipality will communicate with him, and that this communication takes place from the moment he submits the occurrence until its conclusion/resolution» , explains the municipality.
To access the occurrence log, simply access the municipal website and the GEO24LOULÉ application can be found in the “Contact Us” tab. Soon, the application for mobile devices will be available in the respective stores (IOS and Android).
«Loulé is an attentive and vigilant municipality and promotes a collaborative policy in which citizens can have an active participation, guaranteeing responses that respect legal competences and implemented procedures», says the Chamber, adding that this platform «constitutes another tool to available to residents and is part of the bet, in the municipality of Loulé, on a modern public administration that is closer to the citizen, that responds more quickly and effectively».
«This platform is an important step in the citizen's relationship with the municipality. The Municipality will be more careful with everyone's contribution and Loulé will always continue to be a place where it's good to live», guarantees the Loulé mayor Vítor Aleixo.
