Carvoeiro expects to receive over 30 people this Saturday, June 17th, at the 8th Edition of “Carvoeiro Black&White”, which will feature music, lots of fun, and, for the first time, a “Silent Party”.
The event, which takes place between 18 pm and 00 am, in Praia do Carvoeiro, marks the beginning of summer with seven stages that will host performances ranging from Bossa Nova to Chillout music, from Fado to Afro Roots rhythms, from music from the 3s and 00s to dance music, and lots of street entertainment.
In this year's edition there will also be three novelties: a "Silent Party", in the amphitheater of Carvoeiro, a "Sunset Experience", on the beach sand, tribal dancing with fire and aerial dance, and a "Magic Show", with the magician Paulo Goat.
As in previous editions, the shows are scheduled to start at 20 pm and end at 30 am, on Carvoeiro beach, which has been converted into a dance floor, to the sound of the renowned Deejay Overule, which will be accompanied by Mc Landu Bi.
As in previous years, the Municipality of Lagoa, organizer of the event, will maintain the regular line of free buses that ensure the connection between Carvoeiro and the various car parks planned in Lagoa: areas of Fatacil, Apolónia, Aldi and Gramital (land which is located in front of the Aldi), as well as the Intermarché parking lot, near the Poço Partido.
The opening hours of the bus line will be maintained and there will be round-trip buses, uninterruptedly, between 18:00 and 4:00.
The Municipality of Lagoa recalls that this is an event where it is prohibited to circulate with glass inside the enclosure and calls for compliance with safety rules. The municipality also calls for visitors to travel to the event on the free buses made available for this purpose.
