The bathing season has already started and the summer entertainment could not be missing at Largo Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, in Albufeira, which every Wednesday, until September, will host various initiatives, at 21 pm.
The party will be organized by the county's cultural and sports associations. The first show in June takes place this Wednesday, the 21st, with a performance by dancers from FUETE – Academia de Dança de Albufeira.
On the 28th, the Grupo de Marchas de Paderne and the Rancho Folclórica de Albufeira fill the Largo with music and ethnography that refer to traditions linked to the countryside and the sea.
For the month of July, three shows are scheduled: on the 5th of July there is a performance by KIDS – Karen's Internacional Dance Studio, on the 12th Associação SOUL takes the stage and on the 26th it is the turn of the show of Dances and Sports by FC Ferreiras.
In August, on the 2nd, the first concert on the schedule with Naira takes place. Four more shows are scheduled for the end of the
month, namely, on the 9th, the Folkloric Ranch of Albufeira, on the 16th, the concert by Banda Alhada, on the 23rd, the concert by José Praia and Aquaviva, and for the last Wednesday of the month, the performance of the Orquestra Juvenil da Banda from Paderne.
In September, the last two shows on the program are on the 6th, Entretenga, and on the 23rd, Associação LUEL.
«Lots of animation, cultural shows and dancing, this is what the municipality is committed to, which intends to show the excellence of animation and culture in Albufeira», says the mayor of Albufeira.
Carlos Rolo also reinforces that «this is an excellent opportunity to make known to the thousands of tourists who visit us at this time of year, the work of local artists».
