The exhibition «Once upon a time with the cube», a display of work carried out by 8th grade students, from EB 2/3 Dom Martinho Castelo Branco, in Portimão, within the scope of the Visual Education discipline, can be seen in one of the halls of the unit of Portimão University Hospital Center of the Algarve.
According to teacher Vanda Brazona, it is an exhibition made up of cardboard cubes, each with illustrated faces and which were developed from the students' imagination.
«Inspired by the charismatic tile panel on site, the students were challenged to explore their imagination and express themselves freely to create an installation interacting with the surrounding space», he explains.
Ao Sul Informação, the teacher said that the cubes designed by the students fill in the spaces left by the damaged or missing tiles on the panel, a «creative and temporary» solution.
