The weekly operation of the GNR in the district of Faro resulted in 82 arrests, more than 400 doses of drugs seized and 564 offenses detected.
Between the 1st and the 7th of May, 36 people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, 19 for driving without a legal license and 11 for drug trafficking.
During this period, 325 doses of cocaine, 86 of hashish, nine mobile phones, six compressed air guns, four precision scales, three airsoft, dtwo vehicles, a shotgun, a rifle starter (alarm) 2572 euros in cash.
In traffic, 564 violations were recorded: 315 for speeding, 57 for lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 27 related to anomalies in the lighting and signaling systems, 24 for lack of civil liability insurance, 23 for lack of or incorrect use of the seat belt and/or restraint system for children and 15 for improper use of the cell phone while driving.
Of the 103 accidents resulting fromTwo dead, four seriously injured and 23 slightly injured.
