Alqueva Sunset: in the Alentejo, you can toast the sunset with the region's reference sparkling wines

Next Saturday, May 20th, at 16 pm, at Amieira Marina

The “Alqueva Sunset” is back and the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission (CVRA) invites all lovers of nectars in the region to embark on the largest artificial lake in Europe and let themselves be enchanted by the most beautiful sunset in the Alentejo.

A sunset party, which will be an ode to sparkling wines from the region, is scheduled for next Saturday, May 20th, at 16 pm, at Amieira Marina.

At the end of the day, guests board the “Guadiana” boat to watch the sunset over Alqueva and toast with sparkling wines from various Alentejo producers, such as João Portugal Ramos, Adega do Montado, Adega de Borba, Comenda Grande, Carmim, Monte da Barbosa, Ervideira, Herdade da Lisboa, Herdade do Perdigão, Monte do Pintor, Quinta da Plansel, Herdade dos Arrochais, Herdade do Rocim and Aromas do Sul.

In the light of sunset, tastings of the unique flavors and aromas of the Alentejo will be accompanied by suckling pig sandwiches, made by Casa Leitão Rural, in Évora.

With the sun already hidden and after the “Guadiana” boat docks, the party continues until 20 pm, to the lively sound of DJ Bruno Pereira.

This experience costs 35 euros per person and the access bracelet can be picked up at the Rota dos Vinhos do Alentejo (R. Cinco de Outubro nº 88, 7000-854 Évora) or on the day of the party at the Marina.

Being an event limited to the capacity of the boat, all those who wish to get on board the “Alqueva Sunset” must guarantee their registration through the email [email protected].
