The Chamber of São Brás de Alportel assigned two houses to two households, within the scope of the Youth Lease Support Programme.
The two dwellings, located in Farrobo and in the historic center of the town, are T0 and T1.
«All these initiatives that the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel has been carrying out, through consistent and dedicated work, such as the Amiga Program that every year improves the house and changes the reality of life for so many families, are aimed at aim to promote equality and social equity, through what is most important in the lives of families and all of us: access to decent housing», says Marlene Guerreiro, vice-president of the City Council.
On June 15, 2022, an agreement was signed between the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel and the Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation with a view to renovating houses and building new housing in the municipality, to improve the living conditions of 140 households from the municipality, in an investment by the City Council and the Parish, which was joined by Santa Casa da Misericórdia, partner entities of the Local Housing Strategy of São Brás de Alportel that the municipality prepared.
