Teachers and educators will enter the second half of the district strikes on May 2nd, and next week the strike will pass through the districts of Faro, Évora, Coimbra and Castelo Branco.
According to the Union of Teachers of the South Zone, in Faro, the strike will start at 12:00 on Tuesday, with the concentration of teachers from the Afonso III School Group in front of the main school and representatives of the union organizations that converge in this struggle.
From 15 pm onwards, teachers will gather in Jardim Manuel Bívar, where interventions by the trade union organizations present will take place, followed by a contact action with the population along Rua de Santo António.
Mário Nogueira, General Secretary of FENPROF, will participate in these two moments of protest.
