Faro shows his “Creative Bass”

The second edition of “Baixa Criativa”, which will include urban art and poetry, takes place this Saturday afternoon, April 29, in Faro. 

The program includes urban art, at 10 am, with the painting of an electricity box by the Farense artist Xavier Franck, who will explore the theme of the sidewalk on Rua de Santo António.

At 12:00, in Rua de Santo António, the project “Ilha Fria – Three Millenniums of Algarvian Poetry” by Arsénio Martins will take place, a poetry recital accompanied by guitar.

In the afternoon, at 16 pm, in partnership with Open Studios Faro A tile panel by the illustrator Mariana is inaugurated in Travessa do Bouzela.

Closing the programme, at 17 pm, at the Gama Rama gallery (Rua do Prior), Espúria will take place, an event that brings together poetry, music and conversations with writers and where the most recent publication of the project will be presented.

The “Baixa Criativa” initiative is an organization of the Associação do Comércio da Baixa, with the support of the Municipality of Faro and the Union of Parishes of Faro and the partnership of the National Association of Designers, the Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School, the Na Mouche Cultural Association (Open Studios Faro) and the gallery Gama Rama.
