It is a project of «discovery, reinvention and reconstruction» of the “Lusíadas”, by Diogo Piçarra. The Algarve singer was this Wednesday, April 19, in Castro Marim to present his pedagogical book “Os Tvgas”.
The initiative was aimed at students in the 3rd cycle of the Castro Marim School Group, within the scope of the CLDS 4G initiative «Castro Marim (COM)Vida», by the Odiana association.
In this book, which is part of a wider pedagogical project – “Coleção Reinventar por Diogo Piçarra” -, the reader embarks on an intimate journey of the author through the Camonian work “Os Lusíadas”. The five centuries that separate Piçarra from Camões were the motto for the book, in an odyssey across seas and continents, this time to discover, get to know and make known the Portuguese men and women who left Portugal.
Young people watched the dramatization of the work and the musical performance of the themes, which the author and musician composed for the project, and took home the book, edited by Betweien and signed by the musician Diogo Piçarra.
This session was also the opportunity to launch a new challenge for Diogo Piçarra to be ambassador of the research project of the Residential Structure and Day Center “José Cabrita” Alzheimer and Other Dementias, of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Castro Marim, recently inaugurated.
The CLDS-4G «Castro Marim (COM) Vida» is promoted by the Municipality of Castro Marim, coordinated by the Odiana Association, and co-financed by CRESC Algarve 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Union, through the European Social Fund.
