The theatrical version of Dom Quixote, staged by Mário Rui Filipe and interpreted by the theatrical training group of the Ideias do Levante association, will be staged on May 6th at 16 pm at the Centro Cultural Convento S. José, in Lagoa.
This is the 25th production of Teatro Ideias do Levante, with a cast formed by the theatrical training group, which includes the following actors: Pedro Rodrigues, David Simões, Catarina Pires, Francisco Leal, Ana Filipa de Carvalho and Melissa Cardoso.
«Don Quixote is our theatrical version of the adventures of the crazy Don Quixote and his faithful companion Sancho Panza. Looking for fame, islands, gold, what they get is just a bunch of trouble and losing fights. This is a show for all ages (from 6 years old), this character being a universal classic in the stories of the errant knights», explains the association.
The show has free admission, but is limited to space capacity.
