Tavira hosts National Meeting of Adapted Handball

The event also has a social component.

The 31rd National Meeting of Adapted Handball takes place from the 2st of March to the XNUMXnd of April, in Tavira.

The competition starts on Saturday, April 1st, at 9:30 am, with the games divided between the Municipal Pavilion Dr. Eduardo Mansinho and the Pavilion of the D. Paio Peres Correia School.

On Saturday afternoon, there will also be two senior men's games against the Clube Futebol Sassoeiros team and the women's team that hosts Associação Recreativa Porto Alto, counting for the 2nd Division National Championship.

That same afternoon, at 18:30, there will be a demonstration game between the Handball 4 All Selection, the current European champions, title won in 2022 in Poland, and the U18 Men's team from Clube de Vela de Tavira.

On Sunday, from 9:00 am, the matches counting for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th places are played, with the finals of both levels being scheduled for 11:00 and 11:30, with the Closing and award ceremony scheduled for 12:30.

In addition to the competitive aspect, with two levels of Handball-5 competition, the event also has a social aspect, with other initiatives planned in parallel to this meeting.

Clube Vela de Tavira in partnership with the Irene Rolo Foundation, the Dr. Jorge Augusto Correia and ANDDI-Portugal, with the support of the Municipality of Tavira, the Andebol4All Project of the Portuguese Handball Federation, the Algarve Handball Association, the IPDJ and the National Sports Program for All, among various other supports.
