Young Algarve riders Maria Inês Almeida and Mariana André stand out in Jerez de la Frontera

Very important qualifying test for the European Championship

The young Algarve riders Maria Inês Almeida and Mariana André achieved excellent results in the international equestrian competitions that took place in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, for ten days.

Being a very important qualifying race for the European Championship, the Algarve riders had excellent results, including victories in the categories in which they competed.

Thus, according to the website «Equitação Magazine», Maria Almeida, who, last week, was ranked 2nd in the Children's classes, began the second week with a victory and improvement in her grades, raising her average to 72.804%, leading the lusitano horse Gentile.

On the other hand, Mariana André, with Tineo Iceberg, won the Juniors class on one of the days (with a score of 66.869%). The following day, in Junior Individual, the group finished in 3rd place (63.922%), having then achieved a 4th place, evaluated with a grade of 65.505%.
