“Erasmus +” took students from Portimão to Seville

The young people were accompanied by two professors from the Department of Performing Arts

Four students from the Music course at Escola Básica e Secundária da Bemposta (Portimão) participated, in February, in an “Erasmus +” project that included a visit to Seville.

The young people were accompanied by two professors from the Department of Performing Arts.

Students were able to participate in activities organized by the Cristóbal de Morales Conservatory.

«In the first week, there were several concerts and workshops that the students could attend and participate in, highlighting early music concerts, auditions by conservatory students, percussion workshops and flamenco accompaniment, and also a sponsored show of various pianos by Yamaha», says Escola Básica e Secundária da Bemposta.

It is also possible to watch a flamenco show and visit tourist attractions in the city of Seville, such as the Museum of Bellas Artes, Real Alcázar, Seville Cathedral, the Flamenco Museum and the Museum of Illusions.

In the second week, students attended classes in different subjects at the Cristóbal de Morales Conservatory.
