Carlão is the headliner of the “Albufeira Sea Fest”, an event that takes place on the 7th and 8th of April, at Praia dos Pescadores, and aims to be a «big party for youth and family» during the Easter holidays.
The event will take place from 9:00 am to 23:00 pm.
The program includes sports, entertainment, traditional games, inflatables, environmental education activities, juggling, a fire show and young people's favorite bands, not forgetting local artists and DJs.
Carlão, the lead singer of Da Weasel, also known as Pacman, is the event's headliner, with one on the 8th, at 21 pm.
This year, the event also has, as a novelty, a Street circuit, with an extension of 30 meters, where it will be possible to see demonstrations of the best Skateboard, BMX and Inline Skaters.
On Saturday, there will be a tribute to Pedro Martins Lima, considered the father of surfing in Portugal, who recently died at the age of 92.
The Mayor of Albufeira underlines that, after the success achieved in the first edition, the “Albufeira Sea Fest” is already considered an “anchor event” at this time of year, similar to the Youth Basketball Festival.
«Albufeira has a good climate, good gastronomy, excellent hotel offer, hospitable people, in other words, all the conditions to receive those who visit us; a situation that we want to enhance with this great party that aims to transform Albufeira into the main national destination for the Easter holidays», says José Carlos Rolo.
