The Morgado Golf Course and the Alamos Golf Course, from the NAU Hotels & Resort Group, are promoting, until June 30th, solidarity actions in favor of the community of Portimão, such as the collection of food and clothing.
As for the collection of food, the action is carried out in conjunction with the Social Canteen of the Paróquia da Nossa Senhora do Amparo de Portimão, which provides around 80 lunches to needy citizens, from Monday to Friday, complementing them with a reinforcement for dinner. During the weekend, the institution also distributes a small basket with essential products.
The collection of food items, promoted by Morgado Golf Course and Alamos Golf Course, aims to collect non-perishable products for the food reinforcement delivered daily and for the baskets. Milk, preserves, sausages, biscuits, toast or other essential products can be donated.
At the same time, used clothing in good condition is being collected for the benefit of Cáritas Paroquial da Nossa Senhora do Amparo. This institution provides support to several families in the county and is faced with a shortage of clothing, especially for men.
Donations are collected at the reception of golf courses, delivered weekly to beneficiary institutions, and distributed by these to needy families in the region.
With these initiatives to support the local community, the NAU Hotels & Resorts Group reinforces its commitment to social responsibility and its position as a valuable contributor to the social fabric of the locations where it operates.
