FC Ferreiras athlete is two-time national champion in Sports Dance

Club from the Algarve took several athletes to the Portugal Open

Sofia Medeiro, a sports dance athlete from FC Ferreiras, was crowned two-time national champion in the Solos Juventude Intermédios Latina and Standard category, last Sunday, February 26, at the Portugal Open, which took place at the Complexo Desportivo do Casal Vistoso, in Lisbon. 

The club also highlights the athlete Susana Nunes, who won the title of national runner-up Solos Adults Open Standard.

In addition to this duo, FC Ferreiras was represented in the Solos Juvenis Latinas category by athletes Luciana garcia (8th place), Carolina Cardoso (15th place), Iris Gregorio (16th place) and Beatriz Encarnação (22nd place).

In the junior soils were the athletes Iara Gregório (15th place) and Beatriz Abreu (19th place) and in the intermediate Latin youth solos Sofia Rodrigues (4th place) and Alexandra Campaniço (7th place).

The adult solos had the athletes André Martins (3rd place), Anastasia Musikevych (4th place) and Maria Gonçalves (5th place). The athlete Susana Nunes was in the solo adult open latinas (7th place).

The athletes are trained by teacher Telma Guerreiro.
