Algarvio Edmundo Inácio participates this Saturday in the Festival da Canção

The singer will participate with “A Festa”

The Algarvian Edmundo Inácio, born in Portimão, takes the stage this Saturday, March 4, for the second semi-final of the Festival da Canção.

The singer will participate with “A Festa”, theme with music of his own, lyrics co-written with Brisa and production made in partnership by the artist with the producer LEFT.

«This will be one of the big steps towards the beginning of a career. I have messages that I think are relevant to communicate and nothing better than singing them», says Edmundo Inácio.

«”A Festa” reports the daily struggle of a new generation that intends to enter a professional industry and conquer its space in the market. I am very excited to step on the RTP stage. I bring a new Edmundo, accompanied by musicians and an environment similar to the one I will present on stage after the Festival. In this song I have a lute as the focus and tailor-made costumes, but my complete concert will have more instruments and more passionate moments », he adds.

'A Festa' is a song that unites Alternative Pop, Rock, Classical music and Soundtracks and precedes Edmundo Inácio's debut album. Recorded at Great Dane Studios, in addition to the authors, it features guitars by José Carmo and Edmundo, who also took over the keys and, in partnership with LEFT., the percussions and bass, with a mix by Sassá Nascimento and mastering by Michael “Mic” Ferreira.

In what is the 57th edition of the event, whose grand finale is scheduled for March 11th, 15 authors were invited and 5 were chosen through the free submission of songs, as is the case of Edmundo Inácio.
