Around 300 participants, from the municipalities of Lagoa, Monchique, Lagos, Silves and Portimão, will participate, on the 22nd of February, in the second stage of the Senior Olympics, at the city's Gimnodesportivo Pavilion.
This initiative brings together participants from municipal sports projects for seniors, between 65 and 88 years old.
The calendar consists of five stages, played in each of the Sport Friendly Municipalities (MAD) that adhere to the initiative, aiming to encourage good practices of active aging in the growing senior population.
