The IKEA Loulé store will welcome craftsmen and designers from Loulé Criativo, from the 2nd to the 5th of February, and more than 150 products produced by 20 local designers will be displayed together with the brand's products, in a unique initiative in the country.
In addition, there will be workshops and the creators will be working live in the store located in MAR Shopping de Loulé.
Learning how to make a lamp or a ring with scrap wood, watching a musical instrument being repaired, seeing how a piece of pottery is created, watching wool and knitting by hand, trying out hand weaving, creating cushions, getting to know the different techniques of palm weaving, learning to embroider, painting tiles and even finding the textile club with more than ten passionate about the arts of know-how, it will be possible in these first days of February.
To get to know the participants better, MAR Shopping Algarve also joined the initiative, where you can find an exhibition on the Loulé Criativo municipal project that is open from January 21st to February 12th.
«The event promises to surprise and inspire visitors, and this is also an excellent opportunity to show and get to know local products», says the Loulé Criativo community.
