João Pina, former director of the magazine «Algarve Mais», specialized in covering nightlife events and current events in the Algarve, died today, Thursday, the 26th, at his home.
The announcement was made by the family on social media, which does not have, for now, information on when and where the funeral rites will take place.
In addition to being the director of «Algarve Mais», which he began editing in 1993, João Pina edited other titles, such as the newspaper «Praia Dourada», the sports weekly «O Campeão» and the magazine «Boxing».
He also wrote several books and was a manager of night entertainment and artist agency.
