Last Saturday, January 21st, António Zambujo handed out school achievement awards to 16 students from Vila do Bispo.
Taking advantage of his presence in the municipality, where he gave a concert, the singer participated in this initiative that awarded young people from the 2nd and 3rd cycles of Basic Education.
Artur Augusto Silvestre, Beatriz Duarte de Jesus, Bianca Alexandra Dias Mariano, Bianca Sofia Martins Lourenço, Mafalda Furtado Baptista and Rodrigo Custódio Machado, Elsa Areinha Correia, Felícia Bauer, Lara Neves Mateus, Santiago Ribeiro Saraiva, Inês Afonso Duarte, Júlia Guaré Graça, Maiara Adyle Tavares Freire, Marta Sofia Marreiros de Jesus, Marvin Sol Polak and Rodrigo Wang were the distinguished students and took home a Fnac card worth 250 euros, free entry to Zoomarine, as well as some editions of the municipality.
«This initiative, part of the Municipality Day celebrations, aimed to recognize and value the merit, effort and school performance achieved by these students over the past school year», says the Vila do Bispo Council.
In addition to António Zambujo, Rute Silva, mayor of the City Council, and Daniel Freitas, director of the Grouping of Schools in the Municipality of Vila do Bispo, also participated in the award ceremony.
