Teachers from the Silves Sul School Group demonstrated this morning, in front of the Parish Council of Armação de Pera, against the measures for Education announced by the Ministry of Education and following last week's strike and the large demonstration on Saturday in Lisbon.

The teachers thus missed the Pedagogical Days that were scheduled for 9:30 am and were supposed to take place during the three days of the current school break, but which ended up being cancelled.

The teachers received the solidarity of the president of the Parish Council, who is also a teacher, although not currently in office.
