The VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve, in Guia, the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf, in Lagos, the Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort, the NAU São Rafael Atlântico, the Dom José, in Quarteira, or the Tivolis Carvoeiro, Marina de Portimão and Lagos are just a few of the options.

 

VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve

 

To celebrate the last festivities of the year, the VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve, in Guia, has stay programs and invites you to live the Christmas spirit at the table.

In this court, the reservation for one night for two people in a double room prestige includes buffet dinner with traditional Christmas Eve recipes. Prices start at 236 euros per person.

 

Dom Jose Beach Hotel

 

At the Dom José Beach Hotel, in Quarteira, the night of the 25th of December features a menu costing 50 euros per person, drinks included.

Initially, a pumpkin soup with toasted almonds and tomato and oregano croutons will be served. The fish dish consists of a confit salmon tranche with julienned vegetables sautéed in garlic oil, while the meat is a roasted turkey breast with sautéed spinach and wild mushrooms and muscatel sauce.

Dessert is a pistachio petit gâteau and mint ice cream.

 

Palmares Ocean Living & Golf

 

The Clubhouse restaurant, at Palmares Ocean Living & Golf, in Lagos, presents a special menu for Christmas.

Lobster ravioli with crustacean cream and coastal prawns marinated in citrus fruits are the starters of a menu presented at Christmas Eve, which features the traditional half-cured codfish followed by roulade kid.

Dessert will be crème brulee with sorbet tangerine and the typical french toast, children and king cake. The price is 65 euros per person.

On the 25th of December, lunch starts with Natural Oysters, cooked prawns, serrano ham and Monchique black pudding. For 49 euros per person, the fish dish will be octopus with sweet potatoes and watercress and orange salad, and the meat dish will be the leg of kid.

For desserts, there are farofias, french toast and bolo rei, as well as chocolate tart and coffee ice cream, rice pudding and chocolate mousse.

 

Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort

 

At the Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort, on the 24th of December and Christmas Day, buffet dinners (69 euros per person, drinks included) will be prepared at the Victoria restaurant, with entertainment by a musical group.

Among the main dishes, highlights include cod au gratin with prawns and leek, octopus confit with sautéed turnip greens and turkey roll with dried fruit and rosemary sauce, leg of kid roasted in the oven with rosemary sauce or suckling pig roasted in the pepper sauce.

For dessert, there are pumpkin dreams, king cake, Christmas log, egg and caramel pudding, dark chocolate mousse and Christmas bag white with raspberries.

 

Pine Cliffs Resort

 

 

On the 24th of December, the Piri Piri restaurant and the Corda Café, at the Pine Cliffs Resort, in Albufeira, will be open between 18 pm and 00 pm with a festive à la carte menu.

For those who prefer to celebrate Christmas in a more intimate atmosphere, the development's Villas and Residences offer options with menus delivered to residences/apartments, for 70 euros per person.

On the 25th of December, the Jardim Colonial will be the place to celebrate Christmas, where a traditional buffet of Portuguese cuisine is served, between 18 pm and 00 pm, for 22 euros per person (with wine and beer available for 30 euros per person).

 

NAU Sao Rafael Atlantico

 

 

Um buffet lines designed for Christmas night is the proposal of the five-star Algarve unit NAU São Rafael Atlântico, in Albufeira.

The option includes cold and hot dishes, soup, side dishes, dinner table.how to cook and desserts. At the buffet lines hot, the highlight is the codfish cooked with all, oven-roasted kid, sweaty octopus, stewed chicken, oven-roasted croaker or grilled black pork.

For cold cuts, roast suckling pig, shellfish, and various salad options. The soup option is a smoothie of clams with coriander. at the table of showcooking the highlight goes to the cheese station, the turkey roasted with chestnuts or the ham in the press.

Desserts include farofias, donuts, rice pudding, flounder, dreams, Christmas log, orange pie, Algarvian almond pie or the typical D. Rodrigo. A Vegan option is also available, the lentil stew, curry thai of tofu, sweet potato and spinach, and chocolate cake.

Service buffet lines it is available for 65 euros per person and includes drinks. Children from 3 to 12 years old have a 50% discount – with the service free for children up to 2 years old.

Accommodation is also available for the night of December 24th, from €41,25 per person, in a standard double room, with breakfast included.

 

Vacation Specials 

 

 

For dinner on the 24th of December, the Med restaurant has reserved a buffet lines with salads and various starters. showcooking stuffed turkey and codfish strudel are some of the proposals, among many other options for “hot” dishes and Christmas desserts. The price is 50 euros per person. Children between 6 and 12 years old pay 25 euros.

For the morning of the 25th, a brunch, also at the Med restaurant, between 11:00 am and 14:30 pm, with showcooking and a selection of drinks included. The price is 40 euros per person.

For dinner, from 19 pm onwards, the restaurant will serve a buffet lines Christmas for 50 euros per person. Children between 6 and 12 years old pay 25.

For those who prefer to opt for other options, The One Restaurant has prepared, for dinner on the 24th and 25th, a menu à la carte or tasting.

The tasting menu consists of five dishes, which includes Cod with all and Turkey Breast stuffed with nuts and cranberry sauce. To end the meal, there is vermicelli with orange ice cream and English cake French toast with vanilla cream and caramel ice cream.

This option is only available for adults, for 90 euros. The option with pairing of wines is 130. On these two days, the Azur Bar also has live music reserved, from 19 pm to 30 pm.

 

Tivoli Marina Portimao 

 

 

At the Tivoli Marina Portimão, the festivities begin with a dinner buffet lines on Christmas Eve, with a choice of hot and cold dishes, including Roasted Kid and Turkey Roti stuffed with chestnuts.

The option is available for 45 euros per person, with children aged 4 to 12 having a 50% discount.

For lunch on Christmas Day, available from 12:30 pm, the hotel prepared a welcome cocktail and a amuse bouche, followed by a menu specially created for the festive season, featuring cod in a bed of turnip greens and Portuguese-style loin of veal.

Dinner on the 25th of December, in addition to the welcome cocktail and amuse bouche, features a goat cheese puff pastry, roasted croaker, stuffed chicken supreme and dessert. The price per person for each meal is 40 euros. Children from 4 to 12 years old have a 50% discount.

 

Tivoli Lagos 

 

 

At Tivoli Lagos, the Lacóbriga restaurant is the host. The Christmas Eve dinner consists of two starters, a fish dish (codfish with potato migas, cornbread and cabbage), a meat dish (steak piece with sauce Bordeaux), drinks and a selection of Christmas desserts.

The price is 48 euros per person, drinks not included.

For dinner on Christmas Day, the suggestions are varied starters, main course (Pork Cheeks accompanied with sweet potato puree) and desserts. The menu costs 30 per person and drinks are not included.
