The Chambers of Alcoutim, Castro Marim, Faro, Loulé, São Brás de Alportel and Tavira were once again distinguished with the seal “Autarchy + Family Responsible”.
The distinction, awarded by the Observatório das Autarquias Familiarmente Responsáveis (OAFR), aims to reward the municipalities that develop an effective policy of support and help for families, recognizing good practices in terms of family policy and distinguishing municipalities that invest in the construction of a policy integrated family support.
The municipalities of Alcoutim, Castro Marim, Faro and Loulé are part of the list of municipalities distinguished for three or more consecutive years with this seal.
São Brás de Alportel and Tavira have been on the list of distinguished municipalities for less than three years.
The 14th edition of the awarding of the flag covers 95 municipalities in Portugal and will take place in Coimbra, on the 26th of January.
