São Brás de Alportel hosts the final stage of the Final Season Trophy presented by Shimano

São Brás de Alportel received this Sunday, November 20, the last stage of the Final Season Trophy presented by Shimano, a test that ended the national Downhill season (DHI) which Maurício Cirne (Casa do Povo de Abrunheira) won in the elite category . 

The athlete performed the descent in this last stage of the competition in 1'25''901. The second position was for the Spaniard Domingo Ruiz (Los Pitijopos Beatilleros), at 4,504 seconds. Third place was occupied by Francisco Sousa (Wildboys/Riding Addiction), who thus cemented second place in the overall ranking of the competition. Third place overall in the competition went to Pedro Fernandes (Individual).

Casa do Povo de Abrunheira, the formation that won the general ranking by teams, also achieved overall victory in the junior category, with Gonçalo Silva being the strongest.

In the cadet category, the winner in São Brás de Alportel was the British Noa Walker (Individual), but the overall victory went to the Portuguese Pedro Martins (Wildboys/Riding Addiction).

Regarding the final accounts of the Final Season Trophy presented by Shimano in the schools categories, Nui Tai (Wildpack Algarve Racing) was the best juvenile and Rodrigo Cunha won in the children's category.

In the veterans, the winner of this edition of the competition in master 30 was Pedro Pinto (Casa do Povo de Abrunheira) and in master 40 it was Miguel Santos (Wildpack Algarve Racing) to win. João Estêvão (Wildpack Algarve Racing) was the best master 50 and António Rodrigues (Casa do Povo de Abrunheira) was the big winner in master 60.
