Another objective is to «promote a debate on the challenges facing the mission and functions of museums, their professionals and the diversity of their Thematic and Territorial Networks, in order to provide ways of developing a greater and more effective strategy of proximity and inclusion of their communities in partnership and cooperation projects».

Finally, the Conferences aim to “contribute to clarifying the role of the different Museum Networks (national, regional and local), as well as the most appropriate positioning of museums and institutions linked to cultural and natural heritage, as active and essential members. at the service of this reality that enhances a strong interactivity and social dimension».
