The Carlos do Carmo Auditorium will host on the 12th of November, at 19:00 pm, the project of the Theater Music Company “A Canção da Terra”.
This is «a work of musical roots that wanders through the territories of image, movement, word and several others that its gestation, in progress, is revealing to us», designed for an audience that starts from children aged 6, but which is intended to be as eclectic as possible, since the challenge is «creating multiple readings is of particular interest to us, but also because “listening” to the Earth is a matter that concerns everyone», the municipality stresses in a note.
The play explores myths, poetry, scientific and historical facts, soundscapes and the historical references implicit in the title (A Canção da Terra by Mahler or by Jorge Brum do Canto, among others).
Tickets for this show cost 8 euros (with 20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Rota do Petisco 2022 Passport, available at the box office in the Municipality of Lagoa) and are already on sale here and at the ticket offices of CTT, Fnac, Worten, Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, Convento de S. José Cultural Center and the Lagoa Municipal Council's Single Counter.
