Quarteira Parish Council already has a service for British resident cards

Loulé also already has the same service

The Parish Council of Quarteira already has a biometric data collection service in operation of British citizens to issue resident cards.

With Brexit, British citizens were left with a different residence status than other Europeans. The situation, overcome by the exit agreements, now requires these citizens to be holders of a residence card that they must apply through the SEF portal.

For this, it was necessary to create a new service and the Municipality of Loulé has two branches, one in Quarteira and another in Loulé, to support the more than 4000 British citizens residing in the county.

At the service desks, you will find officials from the municipality who, after specific training given by the SEF, are now assisting citizens who need this service.
