Entry is free

The Christmas Feirinha is back this weekend, December 3rd and 4th, at Largo do Mercado Mensal, in Moncarapacho.

This edition – the ninth – is part of the 3rd MonFole – Moncarapacho Accordion Meeting. With free entrance, the event is organized by the Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho and Fuseta.

The Christmas Feirinha opens to the public on Saturday at 16 pm, with around fifty artisans from the region exhibiting and selling their products: handicrafts, lace, cakes, liqueurs, regional confectionery or handmade toys.

On Saturday, December 3rd, the animation – at 17 pm – is in charge of the Christmas Cantares Group of the Fusetense Cultural Association and, at 30 pm, the 21rd MonFole – Moncarapacho Accordion Meeting will begin, which will feature performances by accordionists Jorge Alves, Silvino Campos and Ricardo Alves.

On Sunday, December 4th, there will be a Monthly Market in an adjacent space, so the event will open at 9:30 am.

At 11:00 am, Toi Picoito will take the stage to record great world music with his saxophone and the afternoon begins with dancing: at 14:30 pm, orientals with Raqs Tahira, and at 15:00 pm with students from the Urban Xpression dance school.

Before closing, there will be a musical moment, starting at 15:30 pm, with performances by the group “Dois Vizinhos” and escolinhadohelder.
