Castro Marim hosts show “A Maior Flor do Mundo”

As part of the centenary of José Saramago

The Municipal Library of Castro Marim will host, on November 15, at 21:00 pm, the show “The biggest flower in the world”.

The initiative takes place within the framework of José Saramago's centenary and thus presents a revisit to the writer's book, in which he enters the narrative itself and becomes a character, questioning his writing ability and the fact of being able to write someday. a story for children.

The show is aimed at an audience of all ages and consists of words, music and dance. The production is by Foco Lunar, with creation by Vasco Letria, original music by Inversus and choreography by Paula Pinto.

José Saramago's work has been distinguished in several countries, with several awards, including the Luís de Camões Prize, in 1995, and the Nobel Prize for Literature, in 1998. José Saramago is a "writer of the world", whose work has expressed in different artistic, educational, political and social manifestations, taking with it, unavoidably, the Portuguese language and culture.
