The “10th cycle of choral meetings in Terras do Infante”, organized by the Association of the Coral Group of Lagos, is coming, passing by the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, Praça do Infante, in Lagos, and the Church of Nossa Senhora da Luz, in Praia da Luz.
The meeting will take place between the 23rd of October and the 6th of November, as part of the XX Meeting of Children's and Youth Choirs in Lagos (23rd of October), the 45th Festival of Choirs of the Algarve, on the 29th and 30th of October, and the closing concert of the Cycle (6 November).
In a note, the Grupo Coral de Lagos Association says that the event will bring choir concerts performed by groups from other regions of the country to the western Algarve.
The opening takes place on October 23 at Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church, in Lagos, at 15:30 pm. The Concert of the XX Meeting of Children's and Youth Choirs counts with the participation of the Youth Choir Entreoitavas, the Children's Youth Choir of Lagos, the Children's Choir of Setúbal and the Women's Choir Tuttiencantus.
On the 29th, the 45th Festival of Choirs of the Algarve receives, at 16:00, in Praça do Infante, the Tuna de Enfermagem de Lisboa, at 19:30, in the Nossa Senhora da Luz Church, the presentation of the Nova Era Schola takes place and on the 30th, at 15:30 pm, the Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church, counts with the participation of the Choirs Participating Choirs.
Finally, on the 6th of November, the closing concert of the Cycle is scheduled for 21:00 at Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church.
Admission is free for all concerts.
