Portimonense started well, but lost against FC Porto

With this defeat, the Algarve now have the same 15 points

Portimonense lost 0-2 against FC Porto, in a game of the 9th round of the I Football League, played this Saturday, October 8, in Portimão.

The Algarve started the field better: the first 15 minutes were dominated, but FC Porto knew how to put an end to that ascendant.

The first goal of the match came in the 22nd minute, through Otávio, with the right to assist, with the belly, from Evanilson.

The national champions extended their lead early in the second half.

Taremi won a ball inside the area from Moufi, passed it to Pepê and the Brazilian went into the back of the net.

Portimonense was close to reducing, in the 75th minute, in a caricatured move. Gonçalo Costa crossed, Ricardo Matos made a first shot and, at close range, Yaggo deflected it to the crossbar.

With this defeat, the Algarve now have the same 15 points and are in 7th place in the I Liga. On the next round, they will play at Rio Ave (24th, at 20:15).
