The NAU Salgados Palace hotel, in Albufeira, was awarded this year's Publituris Portugal Travel Awards in the MICE category, establishing itself as a reference hotel in the segment of congresses, events, meetings and conferences.
The unit was distinguished in the MICE segment (Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), by a weighted average between the votes of the jury, subscribers and subscribers to the daily newsletter of the publication specialized in the tourism sector.
«NAU Salgados Palace has established itself, year after year, for its versatility, quality of infrastructure and services, as well as for the diversity of resources to respond to all types of events», the unit says in a note.
The NAU Salgados Palace has 228 rooms, three bars, three restaurants, a Spa with 1.000 square meters and four outdoor swimming pools and has an adjacent infrastructure, the Palácio de Congressos do Algarve, which has one of the largest auditoriums in the country, with a for 1.650 people, 23 modular meeting rooms, one of which measuring 1.150 square meters, four booths for simultaneous translation and stage lighting.
With an assiduous presence over the years among the finalists of the awards of this publication, Salgados Palace & Congress Center had already won, in 2016 and 2018, the Best Space for Congresses award at the Publituris Trade Awards.
The Publituris Portugal Travel Awards ceremony took place this Tuesday, October 18, at Quinta da Pimenteira, in Lisbon, with the presence of more than 370 people.
