The Parish Council of Albufeira and Olhos de Água will launch a “Book Club” that will always meet on the first Friday of each month, at 18:30 pm, in the Olhos de Água da Junta building.
This “Book Club” has as its motto “A Tale, A Conversation”. The inaugural session will be on 4 November.
The sessions, with an estimated duration of 1h30 and dynamized by Professor Vanda de La Salete, will be an opportunity to be part of a space for sharing reflections and concerns, based on the reading of a story.
Various issues related to the contemporary world will be addressed, in order to generate a shared conversation between all stakeholders, where plurality and sharing of opinions will be enhanced.
Vanda de La Salete is a certified trainer by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education (CCPFC) and the Educational Technological Plan of the Directorate-General for Innovation and Curriculum Development (DGIDC). She is a researcher at the Center for Philosophy Studies (CEFi) at the Catholic University and a collaborator at the Center for Lusophone and European Literatures and Cultures (University of Lisbon).
Since 1990, he has worked as a teacher in Basic and Secondary Education, teaching in Higher Education since 1997, when he began to occupy positions of Pedagogical Coordination and Supervision.
