Cachopo, recently classified as “Aldeia de Portugal”, invites you to discover its lifestyle and share its meals with the locals in the “Almoce e Jante Connosco” initiative, scheduled for this Saturday, October 1, and Sunday, 2 October. .
The initiative is promoted by the Village Tourism Association and the In Loco Association, and organized by the Cachopo Working Group, with the support of the Municipality of Tavira and the Parish Council.
“Almoce e Dante Connosco” is one of the products of “Aldeias de Portugal”, a community of over 60 villages from North to South of Portugal, which bet on cultural identity, local resources, heritage and the local population.
In 2019, Associação In Loco joined this initiative, bringing to the south of the country the opportunity for Cachopo, Alte, Paderne and Serra de São Brás to integrate this network.
