Expensive Soul, ProfJam, Quim Barreiros, Plutónio and Bárbara Bandeira close the lineup for Fatacil – Handicraft, Tourism, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry Fair in Lagoa, which takes place from 19 to 28 August. Tickets are now on sale.
The concert lineup this year is as follows: Expensive Soul (19), Gipsy Kings, by Diego Baliardo (20), João Pedro Pais (21), ProfJam (22), Quim Barreiros (23), Plutónio (24), Bárbara Bandeira (25), Resistance (26), Fernando Daniel (27) and Tony Carreira (28).
In a press release, the Câmara de Lagoa says that it has invested in a «show poster thinking about the different generations that visit the fair, promoting the identification of the younger generations with Fatacil, valuing the identity of the largest fair of economic activities in the South» .
In fact, the Municipality considers that «all the conditions are met to hold the best fair ever, as far as music is concerned, offering concerts for all tastes and age groups»,
In addition to the Fatacil stage, this year's edition brings a novelty with the introduction of a secondary stage (the Lagoa Stage) in the restaurant area. On this second stage, usually reserved for the performances of folkloric groups, there will be various musical genres, with the music in charge of local artists, where visitors can enjoy the music, from sunset to 22 pm.
In addition to the two stages, there will always be street entertainment by the group Next Combo and Al Fanfare.
The official opening of Fatacil is scheduled for 19:00 pm on Friday, the 19th, and there will be no shortage of news. Municipality that will have a new location and concept, functioning as a living space, with the dissemination of new projects and local products.
Tickets are now on sale.
The daily ticket costs 4 euros, the family daily ticket 14 euros and the 10-day pass 25 euros.
Children up to 12 years old (inclusive) do not pay entry, upon presentation of the citizen's card.
Tickets can be purchased through BOL online box office, at CTT, at Fnac, at Worten, at the Centro Cultural Convento de S. José, at Balcão Único, in Lagoa, and at the fair site, at the local ticket offices that will be open during the days of the fair.
«We present a poster for all musical tastes and for all age groups. We know how much people from Lagoa identify with and love Fatacil, but it is important to promote this passion, too, among the youngest so that the fair never disappears", said Luís Encarnação, Mayor of Lagoa.
